Should I Rent or Buy a House? Which Is Better?
Deciding between renting and owning a home is a significant choice, and each option has its unique advantages. Renting provides flexibility: you can live near your family, workplace, or a neighborhood you enjoy, without the long-term commitment of a mortgage. This can be ideal for those who may not be ready to settle down or want the freedom to relocate as life changes.
On the other hand, owning a home brings the joy of personalizing your space. While it does come with monthly mortgage payments, it also offers the freedom to renovate, decorate, and truly make a space your own.
Ultimately, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The best choice depends on individual circumstances and life stages. For example, a recent graduate might benefit from renting close to a new workplace, allowing time to adjust to new routines and explore areas that fit their lifestyle before making a long-term commitment.

Rent could be a better option when you have not decided where to live. Don’t rush for buying a property, there are tonnes of properties waiting for buyers, it is the buyers’ market now. Chills..

If you have many cash and no option to invest with return higher than bank interest, then put your cash into the mortgage could be a better choice.

I support buy over rent. But better to reduce interest as much possible.

100% agree to have own house, no need keep moving around. Especially family to settle down.

Best is to put in more down payment to reduce the borrowing loan, pay lesser interest and earlier settlement.
